Training details
Goal/standards:  Enable pilots to become acquainted with this “new” mode of propulsion and acquire a good grasp of both the limitations and the advantages of this technology.
Length:  2 or 2½ Days
Simulation:  Basically a hands-on approach. Brief theoretical explanations and exercises on the Navigation Simulator.
Prerequisites:  Holding a pilot’s license or being in the process of acquiring such a license.
Preferred teaching   
strategies: 
Theoretical and practical, hands-on experience using the navigation simulator. Discussions among the participants encouraged during manoeuvres.
Notes:  Each pilot has its own Navigation Bridge, hence allowing for 100 % of the training time (no sharing).
