Strategic positioning

Scarcely two years following its first acquisition, the MSRC has expanded its simulation capacities. It now has four fully instrumented bridges, including the latest tug/bridge configuration, thus enabling real-time high-speed LNGC/VLCC escort complex ship-handling manoeuvres. This latest addition will enable fast-time and real-time operations to deal with such emergencies as loss of steering and propulsion during escort duties.

With the three desktop own ships already in the simulation network, the MSRC has the capacity to run seven individual own ships in the same or in separate exercises. A wide range of targets and vector tugs can be added, pre-programmed or handled at will during the course of any exercise.
